Bare Theory Policies At Bare Theory, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. Please review the following policies before booking. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies. Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all appointments. Appointments are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received. Your deposit will be applied toward your service total at checkout. Deposits will be forfeited if you: * Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice. * Arrive more than 6 minutes late. * Fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in: * Forfeiture of your deposit. * A charge of 50% of the remaining service balance to the card on file. Late Arrival Policy: Please plan to arrive on time for your appointment. Clients arriving more than 6 minutes late will be considered a late cancellation, as there may not be enough time to safely complete the service without affecting the next scheduled guest. Late arrivals exceeding 6 minutes will result in: * Appointment cancellation. * Forfeiture of your deposit. * A charge of 50% of the remaining service balance to the card on file. No-Call / No-Show Policy: Clients who fail to arrive for their scheduled appointment without contacting Bare Theory will be considered a no-call/no-show. No-call/no-shows will result in: * Forfeiture of your deposit. * A charge of 100% of the remaining service balance to the card on file. * Future appointments may require full prepayment or may be declined at Bare Theory’s discretion. Before Your Appointment: To ensure a safe and successful waxing experience, please follow the guidelines below: * Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (approximately the length of a grain of rice). * Discontinue the use of prescription retinoids (Retin-A®, tretinoin, adapalene, Differin®, tazarotene, etc.) for at least 7 days before your appointment. * Avoid AHA/BHA acids (glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid), exfoliating products, and chemical exfoliants for 72 hours before your appointment. * Avoid tanning beds and excessive sun exposure for 24 hours before your appointment. * Clients currently taking Accutane® or who have taken Accutane within the past 12 months are not eligible for waxing services. * Please complete all required intake forms and waivers before arriving. If you are unsure whether a medication, skincare product, or medical condition may affect your service, please contact Bare Theory before booking. Payment Policy: A valid debit or credit card is required to reserve all appointments. The remaining balance may be paid using: * The card on file * Zelle Cash is not accepted for services. Cash gratuities are always appreciated. By booking an appointment with Bare Theory, you authorize Bare Theory to charge the card on file for applicable cancellation, late arrival, and no-show fees in accordance with these policies. Your card on file will only be charged as outlined in these policies. Appointment Reminders: Appointment confirmations and reminders are provided as a courtesy. Clients are responsible for arriving on the correct date and time, regardless of whether reminder emails or text messages are received. Failure to receive a reminder does not waive Bare Theory’s cancellation, late arrival, or no-show policies. Guests & Children: To maintain a relaxing and professional environment, only clients receiving services are permitted inside the studio. Please do not bring children, additional guests, or pets to your appointment unless they are a registered service animal. Age Requirement: Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive Brazilian or bikini waxing services. Clients under 18 requesting non-intimate waxing services must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide signed parental consent where required by law. Health & Safety: For your safety, services may be refused, modified, or rescheduled if contraindications are present, including but not limited to: * Certain medications * Recent cosmetic procedures * Sunburn * Open wounds * Active skin infections * Skin irritation * Any condition that may make waxing unsafe Bare Theory reserves the right to refuse service if a treatment is determined to be unsafe. Refund Policy: Due to the nature of professional waxing services, all services are final and non-refundable. If you experience any concerns regarding your service, please contact Bare Theory within 48 hours so the situation can be reviewed and, if appropriate, a reasonable solution can be offered. Promotional Offers: Promotional pricing is valid only during the advertised promotional period. New Client Brazilian ($35): * Valid for first-time Bare Theory guests only. * Limit one promotional Brazilian wax per client. * Cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, or promotions. * Has no cash value. * Bare Theory reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time without prior notice. Pricing & Policy Changes: Prices, services, promotions, and policies are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Personal Belongings: Bare Theory is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Right to Refuse Service: Bare Theory reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client whose behavior is inappropriate, disrespectful, threatening, harassing, or who fails to comply with studio policies.
